Cowan Gunteski & Co., P.A.’s has a very exciting and unique internship program for current students looking for a career in public accounting. The program looks to identify potential employees and is coordinated and managed by the younger staff members and former interns of Cowan Gunteski & Co.
WHAT WE OFFER
Cowan Gunteski & Co., P.A. internships are full-time paid ten-week summer positions that will provide future accountants with hands-on experience in the “real world.” The program starts in June and ends in August based around the academic schedules of the interns.
PROGRAM SPECIFICS
Diverse work experience - Each intern will spend time in every area of our firm: accounting, auditing, healthcare, construction, manufacturing and distribution, and litigation. This well-rounded experience will allow the intern to understand how their coursework applies to the ever-changing business environment and give them a taste of what areas of accounting may interest them for the future.
Training - All interns receive ongoing training throughout their time at Cowan, Gunteski & Co. The intern will be assigned a “buddy” who will inspire and motivate, to make sure the intern stays busy, understands the work assignments and fits into the culture here at Cowan Gunteski & Co.
Other Events – Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in Firm meetings, networking events, social functions and any other opportunities and experiences that the Firm is involved.
Cowan Gunteski & Co. works hard to make its interns feel comfortable with their new work environment. The relationships developed during the summer will make going back to school in August difficult!
