Areas of Expertise

Yvonne Trella, MBA, serves as a Marketing Director at Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. In this role she is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating marketing initiatives for the firm’s Healthcare and Professional Services Group as well as its Manufacturing & Distribution Services Group. Her areas of expertise include public relations, team leadership, advertising, Web site development, direct marketing, editing and copywriting, collateral production and event planning. She has also assisted clients of the firm with their marketing needs.

Ms. Trella brings more than 25 years of professional marketing experience to Cowan, Gunteski & Co. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, she was Marketing Director of a large regional CPA firm. Her background also includes working in the publishing industry and education sector as well as Fortune 500 companies. She has written and coauthored articles that have been published on a variety of business-related topics. 

She has been actively involved in the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association (JSPRAA) for more than 15 years. She was most recently a Member-at-Large on the JSPRAA Board of Trustees. In addition, Ms. Trella has held other board positions and served as a James R. McCormick Scholarship judge for several years. She is also a ten-time Jasper Award recipient from JSPRAA for marketing and public relations projects that span her career.

A graduate of Monmouth University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing, Ms. Trella also received a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude with a concentration in Marketing from Montclair State University.
