Principal

Eileen Monesson, MBA, is a Principal with the Marketing Services Group with Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. In this role she is responsible for strategic marketing planning, practice development and public relations. In addition, Ms. Monesson works with clients of the Firm with the development and implementation of business and marketing plans. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and sales in the professional services industry. Ms. Monesson joined the Firm in 2004 and was named Principal in 2007.

Ms. Monesson has been quoted on best marketing practices, practice development, team incentive programs and e-commerce strategies for professional services firms in numerous publications, including The Journal of Accountancy, Practical Accountant, CPA Marketing Report, MarketTrends, Law Marketing, NJBiz and various Chamber of Commerce publications.

A frequent public speaker on developing a marketing culture, branding and other topics related to business development, Ms. Monesson has addressed the Association For Accounting Marketing at their national 2004 Summit, the national CPAmerica Marketing Conference, the New Jersey Professional Services Marketing Group, as well as numerous other organizations.

Ms. Monesson has developed and implemented several programs that have received national recognition including the Association for Accounting Marketing - Marketing Achievement Award, Practical Accounting - Practice Innovation Award (three awards) and Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association - JASPER Award (three awards). She was nominated in 2006 as Marketer of the Year for the Association for Accounting Marketing. That same year Ms. Monesson was elected Chair of the CPAmerica Executive Marketing Committee.
