Kevin Donovan

Kevin P. Donovan, CPA, is a Director in the Construction Services Group at Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A. He has extensive experience working with construction contractors, property management and real estate related entities on strategies to improve their profitability and net worth.

By looking at key indicators, such as productivity, job costing, pricing strategies, and quality control, Mr. Donovan is able to help clients operate more efficiently. He is a recognized authority in bank negotiations, bonding requirements, budgets and forecasts; cash flow projections, debt restructuring, equity financing, financial statement analysis, job costing, internal control procedures, as well as merger and acquisition strategies. Mr. Donovan serves companies ranging from $10-$100 million in annual sales, as well as SEC clients.

Named Director in January of 2007, Mr. Donovan is a leader in the Firm’s audit and accounting practice, as well as a member of the Firm’s Peer Review Committee. This committee insures that Cowan, Gunteski & Co. is in accordance with all quality control standards specified by The Center for Public Company Audit Firms Peer Review Program. Under his guidance, the Firm has successfully completed four consecutive Peer Reviews with unqualified reports, the highest level of report available.

He has written several articles which have been published in construction periodicals, including Builder/Architect magazine. Additionally, Mr. Donovan is a frequent speaker on accounting and auditing issues for other certified public accountants.
