Dawn M. Greenberg, CPA, Tax Principal, specializes in providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to construction companies, real estate entities and international corporations. She has been influential in saving clients money by initiating proactive tax planning strategies such as cost segregation studies, domestic production activities deductions, and 1031 tax deferred exchanges. Ms. Greenberg works with small closely-held businesses, partnerships, multi-million dollar consolidated corporations, as well as high net worth individuals.

With more than 10 years of experience in public accounting she is a recognized expert in sales and use tax, multi-state tax issues (nexus studies), tax accounting for investments, U.S. taxation of foreign entities, “green taxes,” and worker classification audits. She has represented numerous clients in state sales tax audits, which have resulted in substantial reductions of taxes and penalties.

Ms. Greenberg is thoroughly knowledgeable on the tax law and is responsible for keeping firm members and clients updated. In addition, she is instrumental in establishing policies and procedures for the Tax Department, as well as quality control with tax compliance and tax planning. Under her guidance, the department transitioned to a paperless office.

She is frequently published on tax issues in New Jersey CPA, the magazine for the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as Builder/Architect magazine. Ms. Greenberg has given seminars for professional organizations including the New Jersey Builders Association and Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey. She also frequently provides continuing professional education for fellow certified public accountants.
